Dusk till Dawn

This skirt is quite possibly the cheapest I have made yet- $2.00 and completely breaking my bank balance. It's a fantastic furnishing fabric that I studded pannels onto, although only one side is visible here.

I wore it out last night with a gorgeous lace-sided leotard I picked up at Supre awhile ago. It has the most fabulous low back, although (again) it's not all too visible here. Jeepers, I really should have thought more about what I was photographing!

It was a fun outfit to wear though, and we all had a wonderful night. Going hunting for skull rings the next morning definatly made it a good time all around.

Wearing handmade skirt, supre leotard, country road heels

I'm really loving those peek-a-boo lace side panels. Totally sexy. And I love where you placed those studs on the skirt. Unconventional but eyecatching.

I was reading your earlier post about deciding to quit law to focus on fashion. I am in awe of you! You are so brave to follow your heart and do something creative and passionate than something conventional and tried-and-tested. I'm a lawyer who hopes one day to do something creative and wonderful - so I'm so pleased you chose your creative side this early on!

Yesterday, I bought some cloth (a red one and the other is striped) to make myself two dresses. I'll show you the result!

Great skirt... you definitely have talent (I wish you could make my own pieces). Love the way you paired it with that leotard. Lovely blog by the way :)
