School's out.

Just to demonstrate how behind I am on posts, this dress was made almost two months ago... Shameful indeed.

I have previously made a red and white dress similar but always had the idea of a black and white, school-girl/nun-ish version. It would look neat with a studded black belt, but I am yet to get my mits on the right one. Patience is a virtue...

I have been atrotious at updating as of late, and this outfit hardly suffices for such a long absence. Be assured I have been sewing up as storm though, and more inspiring images will be heading this way tommorow!

In between work, catching up with friends and working on my portfolio there has been little time for photoshoots and whatnot. Rather exhausted at the moment (hence the huge shadows under my eyes) but it's all good fun.

In between outfit posts here I'll be going nuts on Detour Through Wonderland... Not entirally sure if anyones actually looking at it, but hey, I'm having a blast!

Through the clouds

I took these images a little while ago when my new fringe dress arrived in the post. Somehow I managed to muddle up the camera settings and momentarily it lost all focus. I'm shockingly incompetent in all things technology. Browsing through images this morning though I fell for their soft haziness.

I'm working full-time now and so outfit images have been a little scarce, I'm afraid. Any chance wearing black skinnys and a raglan everyday falls under the good kind of 'efforless' category?

Walking past YSL in Smith and Caughey's yesterday, I fell for this beautifully peach lipstick. It is complete heaven, and is so delicious to wear. I think I can securely add lipstick to lingerie and books as the items I have no self control towards. Indulgences I have no intention of attempting to restrain.

So very excited to find this chambray denim shirt at Cotton On the other day. I've been on the hunt for one for a while now and this one is perfect. It's such fun to layer denim on denim. I'm thinking of trying my denim jacket as well with this outfit...

On a random note, I watched Fight Club for the first time last night. Such a brilliant film! Edward Norton is definatly easy on the eye. Can't hurt, right?
